Three More
I get to fly home again in November for my cousin's wedding. So my mom called me one day and said she was going to have a booth in a couple of craft fairs in November. I said I could contribute a few things. I made all three of these with fabric I already had, so it will seem like they'll be pure profit. And if they don't sell...I'll have a good supply of future baby gifts!

Flowers
My sisters and I were a little obsessed about making new flower clips when I went home last month. We tried some rosettes.

Some satin & tulle.

And a couple of bows.

Then, I came back to Ohio and met the cutest couple at church with a little girl the same age as Bexley with the cutest little felt flower on her head. I was so excited to be bff's with this family only to find out they were only visiting from Boston for the weekend. I've been DESPERATE for crafting friends so I just decided to start my own monthly craft night and invite everyone here I've met...so we made the cute felt flowers this week and I can't wait to put them on Bexley's cute little head.

New Temple Dress
I wanted the most specialist of pictures in our whites at the temple when we were sealed to Bexley once her adoption was final. I loved my old temple dress my mom made me when I got married but it was falling apart. After SEARCHING and SEARCHING for a new one and finding the only ones I liked were over $200, I just decided to make one myself...
I used the Simplicity 4074 pattern, dress A, but instead of the sash I added a ruffle. I thought it was a wrap and tie kind of dress, but no. So in the end I added an invisible zipper under one arm and I still have to have someone help me get it off. But I love it and it was perfect for the pictures!

Summer Dress
I Had Martha Stewart for a Roommate...
Betcha didn't know I lived with a Martha once. She was amazing and I wish I'd taken more advantage of her when we shared the same room!
So...she just had her third boy and made the cutest canopy ever for him. Landon and I both have brothers welcoming new babies this summer so I stole her idea and attempted to make the latest half as cute.
For baby Aleena:
Still trying to get rid of some scraps, so I did some quick flowers on the front.

Megan's Shower
Finally a BOY!!! It's been all girls lately, so we are so excited for Megan to be changin' things up a bit. Surprise, surprise, I made her a carseat cover, but she picked out the top fabric and I love it, it's probably one of my very favorites.
She's been begging for ideas to decorate the baby's room, though I've seen it half done and it's the cutest boy's room I've EVER seen already! So I made her some of these paper globes and used them to decorate at the shower, too!

And some tissue pom poms.
The shower was at Jami's house, who just replaced her carpet. Lots of pink stains were left on her old carpet from my shower, so we decided to go with water this time and just decorate the bottles!
We were having so much fun making projects that we made some favors and a banner together too. I'm pretty sure I don't have any blue/green/orange paper left anymore!
Jami made her famous diaper wreath.
